As we celebrate Memorial Day 2012, I would like to give my thanks to RA for his service while at Air Force during the Afgan War and JDP for his service in Army during the Vietnam war. Thank you again.

GGB @ 75

Today, San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge celebrated its 75th birthday. There were festivities near and around the Golden Gate Bridge. The celebration end a fantastic firework display.

I wasn't at the GGB celebration but I was able to hear the fireworks from the apartment. But, I saw the celebration and fireworks on tv.

Spring Season Finale...

Busy TV week for me.

On Monday and Tuesday, Dancing with the Stars had their season finale. Winners were Peta M. and Donald Driver. Runner ups were Mark B. and Catherine Jenkins and Cheryl Burke and William Levy. My choice was William Levy to win.

On Tuesday, Glee ended their season with Graduation. Rachel is in NY. Finn and Kurt in Lima. Puck and Mercedes are off to LA. Quinn is off NH. Santana hasn't decided what to do. Can't wait for the fall season.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, American Idol had their season finale. The contest was be between Jessica Sanchez and Philip Philips. And the winner is: Philip Philips. I'm so glad for him. I love his sound and voice.

On Thursday, AWAKE had their series finale. I'm glad how the show ended. Although, I'm still upset that NBC decided not to renew AWAKE for a second season. Thank you Jason Isaacs for bringing your show on TV.

New show that I'm following now: Duets and So You Think You Can Dance. Summer fun.

Last night, Mr. Donald Trump named his Celebrity Apprentice for 2012.

The choice was between Clay Aiken and Arsenio Hall.

Mr. Trump chose Arsenio Hall.

Clay gave it his all but came up runner up again. 9 years ago, Clay came in second to Rueben Studdard on American Idol.

Great job Clay!!!

Cancellation...not Renewed...

Today, I found out that 2 of my favorite shows this season was not picked up for a second season.

First, AWAKE has not been renewed by NBC. I want to thank Jason Isaacs for bringing this show on tv this season. You have an avid fan here.

Secondly, GCB was cancelled by ABC. I'll miss the Southern ladies on Sunday nights. Thank you GCB ladies and the wonderful Texas men.
